I grew up in the suburbs of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Minnesota has always been one of the most pollution free states until recent years. I did a lot of fishing and some hunting throughout the years. Being around clean water and breathing the fresh air is so invigorating and totally relaxing at the same time. The air and water in the metro areas is not what it used to be with air quality warning alerts all too often. This is true of all major metro areas around the country.

 I attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from the Carlton School of Business. My two children, Kelly who is a RN in Arizona and Nicholas who just graduated from college. My wife, Eileen, I met in Singapore in 1998 and she moved here in 2000. For over 20 years I worked in management at a major retailer and for a national bank. Being introduced to the solar power industry has motivated and excited me unlike any other pursuit I have ventured into. Learning more about solar power and educating others is something I look forward to doing for many years to come.

 Most everyone knows what solar power is in a general sense. I have discovered very few people truly know the wide range of benefits adding solar power to the home really creates. I look forward to talking to others and educating them on how they can reduce their carbon footprint while saving thousands of dollars over the years at the same time. I am posting news items and videos of Energy Saving Tips with hundreds of ways to save money, reduce energy use, reduce personal waste and just live a healthier life. I happily provide these to read or view for free. Many are common sense and you may use them to various degrees. Many are not as obvious but easy to include in your daily life. Just the amount of energy wasted by 100 million computers on a daily basis is absolutely staggering.

 I have always lived my life trying to develop good environmentally concise ethics. I am not a fanatic by any means but live by a small modification of the golden rule: Do onto others as you would have them do onto you. If you keep the environment clean whenever you have interaction with it and everyone does the same logic would say that we should be living in a clean environment. Obviously a few people aren't keeping up their end. We have to do more than what just effects our personal space to make a progressive difference in the world.
